Jennifer Miyamoto Echeverria is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of experience supporting programs that address trauma, child welfare, probation and social drivers of health. In 2019 after 15 years focusing on behavioral health, Jennifer took a leap to try something a little different and join Blue Shield of California, Promise Health Plan where she is currently the Director of Social Programs and Services. Key external initiatives that Jennifer and her team are involved in are: CalAIM (Enhanced Care Management/Community Supports/Major Organ Transplant – Travel Benefit), Community Health Advocate Program and L.A. Care/Blue Shield Promise Community Resource Center Partnership. Jennifer proud a graduate of the California State University, Long Beach School of Social Work and is currently a fellow in the California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) Health Care Leadership Program.
