Roxanne Suarez


Roxanne “Rox” Suarez (she/they) graduated from UCSD with a Bachelors in Biological Anthropology with an added focus in Science and Technology Studies. While at UCSD, Roxanne grew passionate about health and social issues of poverty and was inspired to start a career in the non-profit sector. Over the course of her career at 211 San Diego, she applied her knowledge and skills in facilitation and visual media to various roles such as training and quality assurance to supporting community partners’ adoption of the Community Information Exchange. As Director of Partner Integration, Roxanne works in partnership with leaders across the Community Information Exchange to onboard their teams, implement new workflows and improve user experience as the collective adapts to an evolving community coordination model.

Roxanne is a native Southern Californian and has lived in San Diego since 2013. Roxanne’s pronouns are She, Her, or They. She enjoys an eclectic spread of music and dance, including swing music and is a lover of movie nights. Some of her favorite books include the Alchemist, Ender’s Game and the Speaker for the Dead.
