As Director of Business Development, Suzie identifies, assesses, and responds to grant, contract, and funding opportunities to support the operations of 211 San Diego and the Community Information Exchange and help connect San Diegans to helpful information and resources. In her role, she works to establish a strong funding foundation, so 211 San Diego can continue to develop more innovative and efficient programs for our region. Suzie currently serves on the North County Philanthropy (NCPC) Board of Directors. Prior to joining 211 San Diego, she worked at Capstone Advisors, a Carlsbad-based real estate investment and development firm, and the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC. Suzie previously served as the Board Co-Chair and Treasurer for the San Diego Chapter of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN).

 She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM) with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and received her Master’s Degree in the History of US Foreign Relations from The American University in Washington, DC. Suzie currently lives in Oceanside, CA with her husband and two kitties.
